Yes, should be a grey/yellow wire.

Clamps...

You need some clamps on those hoses, don't want leaks!

Yes sorry forgot to say i just roughly put the pipes on there just to see how it looked.With the price of fuel in the UK cannot afford to lose a drop :laugh:

Well if the wiring is right, this should be fine. Is the pump mounted to something solid? I can quite tell from the pic. If it isn't you will want to mount it to something so the weight of the pump doesn't cause it to move around and stress the wiring or hoses. Make sure you have the flow orientation correct. Sorry if this is stuff you've already done correctly.

Thanks budgetzagato,i have mounted the pump onto a aluminium plate which then bolts to the carb fan mounting.i will also remember to make sure of the flow orientation.

Just finished the electric fuel pump install with no problems [thank's Racheal for the wiring diagram] and pump advice from budgetzagato and all the others for the advice and help :worship:

The pump is very quiet and does not need a regulator
