buy what you like and understand that there is no way you will find a pristine x that you can afford or afraid to drive for fear of damage. half the fun is what will happen next. there is a learning curve here. you can yell, kick, swear at her but you will glean deep insight as how she works and that will be helpful down the road as she breaks or got a little pissy.
been there done that and have never regretted the trip since 75.
