Here's a shot of the passenger rocker that I patched with the filler after block sanding with 40-grit:
Now I know this looks like A LOT of bondo, but you guys have to trust me that is a skim coat. In fact about 90% of the bondo I put on is now lying under the car as bondo dust! Man do my arms ache. If I had to guess the thickest the bondo is would be about 1/16 of an inch. I can accept that. If I had some way to access the back of the panel I could have done more metal work to have reduced that even further, but I think this will be an acceptable repair. I don't think it will rust again anytime soon.
