The ' Asi - Historical Automotoclub Italian - was awarded yesterday, Monday, 28 September, to 3.44 million Euros of the historical collection of Carrozzeria Bertone .
The famous heritage, which was sold with an increase of 61% compared to the auction, composed of 79 pieces - including vehicles, and chassis models - the museum Bertone , comprises means of great importance as the Lamborghini Miura , Espada and Countach , a Lancia Stratos road, an Alfa Romeo Giulia SS , an AR Giulia Sprint , an AR Montreal and several prototypes designed by Nuccio Bertone.
The sale of this collection, which has been declared of cultural interest by the Ministry of property and cultural tourism , ending the legal battle began in 2007, with the bankruptcy proceedings for the historical background of the bodywork quarrels in the family Bertone , between the widow Lady and her daughters Barbara and Marie Jeanne.
A constraint of the Ministry of property and cultural tourism required that the entire collection was sold at auction electronically in its entirety. Also ASI, will disperse reselling pieces individually, and will never transfer it abroad.
