Just an FYI on Wilwood Brake Kits...

Nice numbers...also interesting is the cornering speed.

The 1300 is only beaten by a few supercars.
What could be the reason the cornering speed of 1500 is lower than the 1300? Weight?

I guess I'll throw in my 2 cents as well

In my race application the brakes give me excellent feedback. I'm running slotted and drilled rotors on all four corners with carbotech pads. I know alot of people say when they drive the raceX whats wrong with your brakes. I just tell them they've forgotten what unassisted brakes feel like.

Also, pad composition has changed drastically in the last decade alone, not to mention from 1980. You can have the best performance brakes on the market, but if your pads stink, your overall impression of the brakes will be low. Before dumping thousands of dollars into new brakes (which will lead to larger tires/wheels) consider a new set of pads that offer the right amount of grip and feel. To me, and I've seriously considered the wilwood package, is predominantly bling with a slight performance increase due to newer technology.

Ok, that was about $! worth, sorry.
