Restoring 77 x1/9 - need help with parts

Hi there
I am starting a project of restoring a 77 with some rust in the quarter panels and driver door. My first question is:

Will the doors of a fiat x1/9 1980 fit on a 1977?? I know mechanically they are different but what about the body parts??

The only problem using different doors is if you get them on the wrong sides backwards. Other than that there are no problems.
 
Hi Fishman,
The only diference is the interior door handle. The 77 (1300) will be a lever and the 80 (1500) will be a pull flap type. If the door is complete i.e with the door card it should be a straight swop.
