The finish, 24 Hours Of LeMons, 5 miles of Thunder Hill

Got at high as 34-35th overall in a field of 240_ish cars at the start. This was the worlds largest field of cars for a road race. We ended up about 50th overall at the finish.

Car got whacked twice. The second time caused a loss of over 10 minutes due to a dead VW-Porsche Bosch starter. If the rotary was able to be started after that spin, the out come would have been quite different.

Chasing one of the fastest cars ever at LeMons, Eye Sore Racing's turbo Miata. Built by engineers at Mazda USA, Garrett AirResearch and driven by pro drivers. This car & drivers turned a 3:59-6:xx at the 5 mile Thunder Hill track earlier that day in LeMons traffic on DOT180 street tires. Both cars are relatively equal in performance, position depends on how much risk driver is willing to take on any given pass and what the other drivers and cars might do.

The track record for a Spec Porsche Boxter racer on soft compound race tires is 3:49:xx as a relative comparison. At this point, tires limit the performance and lap times for all LeMons racers.
