Does anyone know of a "rattle can" silver paint,e.g. Rustoleum. That closely resembles the factory steel wheel silver paint? Thanks for any recommendation.
Here is the RIGHT way to do it... for about $150 bucks...

But you can also do it (especially if you have steel or factory painted wheels) by eliminating steps 2 -7 and 9 as the narrator points out during the last few seconds of the video... for about $15 - $20 bucks.
I've personally used their products for probably 20 or 25 years. Once I started repainting a factory plastic Honda wheel cover and halfway through I could not tell where I started or finished! It looked EXACTLY like the other three! I went ahead and painted them all anyway as money ($6) is no object to me...
Hey, it dries fast and like the video says you can spend thousands elsewhere. I guarantee you'll be happy with the results!
Sorry Papa Tony, no ridicule intended. Bought some steel wheels for storage and they had been previously painted white. I can't subject the '74 to ridicule during winter storage while the mille miglia wheels are restored this winter.
