If you've looked through old threads and found broken imageshack links, I received these instructions from ImageShack today which may revive them:
Hello ImageShack Users, we have released an Image Repair tool that
allows you to replace broken URLs with new images. In case you have
pages that have a broken image, now there is an easy way to place
a new image into an old URL. Here are the steps to use it:
1). Access https://imageshack.com/repair
2). Paste the broken URL that you are trying to repair into the text area field.
3). Click browse and choose a new image.
4). Click Upload to complete the process.
Now that image that you have uploaded will be shown when this old URL is used.
