Alternative Open Air Intake

I was looking at Vick's and they're sold out of the Open Air Intake (http://www.vickauto.com/newstore/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=3590).

Anybody know of an alternative?

A K&N Filter and an elbow? I'm not much of a "tuner" myself but I was under the impression that unless you've gone to big valves and hot cams and such there's not much use in putting on a less restrictive air filter (and a worse filtering one), the MAS is the bottleneck anyway, not the filter and that bottleneck isn't even the point of restriction unless a bunch of mods have been done, no?

Actually, I'm looking more towards the pipe between the AAF and the engine. I believe I have an air leak in the system

oh, gotcha, mine is cracking too, a smear of black RTV and period inspection is my solution

I have one of those in a box

I bought that Vick's set up when they first introduced it. It has been in the shipping box ever since. It will end up on the 78 at some point... if I ever finish the 78.

Not hard to make that pipe from an aluminum "j" tube cut to length & add a port for the PCV & air bypass. That, and a couple silicone couplers.

Either 2.5 or 2.75" tubing.
