disappearing photos

I posted some photos on ImageShack on April 7, 2015, in the Workshop forum thread "Found the headlight diodes", but although I can see the URL to the photos in the source code of the forum posting, and the photos are still viewable at ImageShack, the links are now invisible in the forum.
Is it this forum's policy to disable <img> links after a couple weeks? Does anyone know why the photos disappeared from the Workshop forum?

Xweb doesn't delete or block photos... ever. IMHO the problem is within Imageshack's servers or their evolving business model. They keep changing their terms and the latest iteration has been really unpleasant. When I go to my personal Imageshack page there are whole groups of photos I loaded years ago that won't show up anymore.

I suppose the real problem I have with Imageshack is that they drew me in with "FREE" photo hosting back in 2003 and now they want me to pay. I guess I am just too cheap. :2c:

I created an PhotoBucket account a few years ago when I first started seeing images drop off of Imageshack. I have begun slowly migrating all my Imageshack photos to PhotoBucket which is still free. Of course that could change too.
 
Hot damn!

:doh: Thanks, you guys, now I see 'em. I was probably using the browser (I have 7 installed) that doesn't display images or Flash for security reasons. I'll check back again in a week so see if ImageShack is serious about their 29 day limit.

...I have Windows 7 also!!
Could that be why quite a few of the pics posted on Xweb don't show up on my screen also? :doh:
