Daily Driver
Looking for daily driver tires. The current set up with 165/70R13 on front and 205/60R13 on rear looks sharp on my X. Driveability no clue as mine has never moved under it's own power. But as I cross my fingers am close looking at new tires. Front I may have a couple leads on but the 205/60r13 I'm running into a wall. If anyone knows of anything in this size that is road worth can you help me out? Thanks all!!!

Legend cars uses 205/60/13

If you have Legends Racing in your town their might be a store that sell this tires. Federal is the tires supplier for legend cars. Federal 595 in 205/60/13.

Tires-easy.com...

For Achilles 175/60x 13's or 185/60s.

For 205/60s, I had the same problem.

I went to get them off Ebay... but I see no REASONABLE listings now.

ONE USED tire for 59 bucks... the rest for almost 200 to 400 apiece!

I found these folks on Ebay as well.

T.O. Hass Tire and Auto in Lincoln NE.

Mine were Pro-Meter brand (?) and Chinese... but what isn't these days. Mounted and balanced easy.

If you drive your X for fun and enjoyment

Take a look at Toyo Proxes R888, 185/60. I have 5 1/2" wide rims on my 74 X and they fit nice and are DOT track tires. Not good on wet, but what stick!

My adopted son Rudy has a set of Federal 185/60s...

on his ride and I commented how good the TIRES looked on what I thought were 14 inch rims... not knowing the brand.

When he told me they were Federals on 13 inch rims and he had absolutely no problems with them... I was surprised on all counts.

I'm unsure of the name of the rims or the width... but the spokes are relatively LONG as compared to most other makes... and it gives the appearance of a larger diameter.

Looks good and performs great... and I guess like Jim Schultz who hadta go through 8 tires to get 4 good ones, Rudy musta lucked out on the first go-round... (pun intended.)

Again... I noticed a good looking sidewall as well as a great "looking" tread pattern. I believe these tires meet all his "cruising" needs.
