EU turn signals on late model X1/9s

True Classic
I noticed quite a few pictures recently of late-model X1/9s in Europe with the EU-spec (white/amber) turn signals.

I've seen some of these for sale here and there too. Are these as simple as bolting off the US-spec signals and bolting on the EU-spec signals? Interesting that the housing shape looks different than the more rectangular US-spec as well.

Ryan you need the EU mounting bracket to connect to the bumper.
It's a very weird taco curved bracket very difficult to fabricate.

You can still get them on eBay UK but corrosion is an issue many times.
the back of the lights have a thick gasket that wedges the lights into the mount.

Someone just had one FS in FSW not too long back.
here's a photo from the ad for a visual.

Or, you can make your own

I made these from Stainless. They were based upon the brackets Greg references.

Ryan - I tried those on the Red X...

Ricardo sold me the clear covers. I will see if I still have them buried in the shed...

Well, I'm definitely glad I asked. Wouldn't have guessed there was an additional bracket required. Are the connectors the same?

So, Bob, how much do you charge for these?

Ha! That was a one-time build

Took me a full day to make those up. I don't see me making another. Sorry...
Maybe you can talk Jim (WYOX19) into selling you the set from the Queen.
I think those are the only ones that were ever made from stainless.
