VAS Rad Install

WildWilly

True Classic
Well the new VAS Texas Heat rad has arrived and it looks great, really glad I went this route rather than getting the old one serviced. A few questions if you don't mind. For the drain plug and the air bleeder at the top, should I use any kind of Loctite on them or just put them in nice and snug and call it a day? Also for the temp sensor for the fans, should that get any Loctite? As always, thanks in advance for the help.

Why would you want to use loctite? It is not usual to use loctite in this application.

Temp sensor should have a seal. Don't know about the drain & bleeder, I would suggest asking VAS since it's their product.

Both the air bleeder and the drain should use a fiber, aluminum or copper washer to seal, the threads are not the seal surface. A little anti-sieze is a good idea actually.
