I need a good mechanic...

Hi all,
I am an original owner of an '85 Bertone X1/9 that is housed at my parent's near Reading, PA. Does anyone know of a good mechanic that understands these cars in the Reading or Philadelphia area? Much appreciated! Thanks.
Mike

Tell us about your car

There are folks in CT, VT, and NH that are good with Fiats, but that's a haul for you to bring the car unless you leave it for a while.

Do you just need assistance or do you need someone to do the work for you? How long has it been sitting idle? What's its overall condition? Pictures would be helpfull.
I'm close enough to possibly offer some assistance getting her basic systems checked out if that's what you need. I'm no expert like some of the guys here but I'd be willing to give you a hand with the basics.

Thanks! I m the original owner and its in good shape. I get it serviced at another service shop in the area but i wanted to keep an eye out for a real specialist. I used to use Don Kramer but he retired.

I am also interested in restoring it a bit/new paint job in the near future. I'm hoping to find someone good in the area.

Thanks

I'm 45 minutes east of you but am too busy to take on part-time work. PM me if your work is either quick or taking place in 6 months or longer away :)

Thanks all… I wrote an email but haven't gotten any response yet. I just need a good mechanic for regular maintenance. I will also need a good restoration guy for a respray down the road.

Shaun is on a road trip. Last night he was on the banks of the Mississippi river. He does keep us all well informed on facebook. Might be a good place to contact him.
