OEM Exhaust Question

One of the big problems I had on my 1980 X was when my muffler rusted out back in the late 1980's. I could never find another. This was well before this chat site and the internet. I remember the old Bayless based out of Ga had one bu tthe cost was outrageous like $800 back then.

Just curious if a stock OEM exhaust system exists or do X owners make modifications?
 
MWB has all the parts you need

You can look at the Exhaust page over at MWB for both new and used parts for your 80X. I am sure Vick's had the parts too, so check whichever vendor is closest to you.
 
Amazing! I had such a hard time finding anything back in the mid 1980's.

One other issue I used to have was with the spring hangers. They worked well. However, when I went over something like speed bumps the some springs would dislodge off the hanger. I guess i could have wired them on.

I have three stockers here I would love to get rid of.
do you just need just the muffler, or the cats too.
I'd say 250. for all three complete and shipping.
