Anyone for a mid engine Fiat 500?

No... then you would have an Abarth 500 Bimotore...

Which would probably be INSANE... but "huggable"!

The Aznom conversion. I remember this. Now imagine that 230hp engine in the lighter X1/9. Oh the fun.

My X puts out 240hp, and I certainly don't have the only one around. Think I'll drive it to the Dallas Karting Complex this afternoon. :grin:

Lancia Trevi Bi Motre

Lancia needed to learn about AWD, high horsepower cars for their rally program so they made this. It had two supercharged (VX) Beta drivetrains. One front. One rear with the transmission linkages hooked together.
I give you, the Lancia Trevi BiMotre! The rest, as they say, is history...

Honda CRX

I once saw an original Honda CRX (84–85) with two engines in it: the standard up front and one tucked in over the rear wheels.

Apparently it was quick, awesome, and scary.
