And I'm cranking that GD facebook. I thoght I'd drop by our X Forum, whch I don't do too often lately. It is mainly 'cause that GD facebook.
And I thought how great it is that a bunch of good guys are connecting thanks to a good job done by a good man a few years ago. What was it, 4 or 5 years?
And there pops a post about his birthday.
I do think this forum is the greatest tombstone a guy could wish for, I know I would.
I know you do rest in peace, Mac. We never forget you.
 
Hertzel...Xweb is much older!

Before Xweb, Mac & I were 2 lone Yanks hanging at British X1/9 forum,
when Mac contacted Northwest Xheads to ask if they'd be interested
in a US-based, X1/9-specific forum.
That was before Brits restricted access to only their club members.
And so this site was started...16 years ago...in 1999.

..ol' mate Pottsy put me onto this site in early 1999 when it was SeaX, just one month after I bought my X (Feb 1999).
Haven't heard much from Pottsy lately - hope he still around!
