The Storm of the Century

That's the headline. Here are the pics from my house in Harpers Ferry.

27" at the back door and not as deep as most of the area.

View of the house.

House across the street.

My deck. There is a pair of chairs and a table in there somewhere.

That's my van in the driveway.

The street in front of my house.

Shoveling Snow so I can get in/out of the house.

Defying Physics.

Part of climate change associated with mean global warming

is massive baroclinic instabilities. The extremes get more extreme, and it flips back and forth until it goes metastable. The funny thing is we could stick into an ice age, too.

Didn't you get the memo from Big Al?

...We are calling it "Climate Change" now. Nobody's buying into the whole Global Warming gimmick.

I wish Al would shut up.

Every time he speaks somewhere, they have a blizzard.

Beautiful!

I wish we would get some of that. Then I'd go snowboarding, again.

Instabilities!!! YES!!!

Hello, Larry C; I have an X justabt the same as yours, but mine needs alot of work, and won't start!!! It occurs to my that I have Isobarometric Instabilities, too!!! Question; have you ever timed your engine? Does it time at cylinder No. 4? Something's broke in mine and it times out abt 35 degrees advanced of TDC.

Last year it was so hot here I had plants that I had for 20 years die. The only way to save them was bring them in the house. It wasn't the sun it was the temperature. Under my back porch it was 47celcius in the shade.
This year so far has been ok, however our heat waves are hotter and longer.

That is a lot of snow for Florida.

Welcome to the great (?) north. We use to be in the south (below the Mason/Dixon line), but this seems to have changed.

Have you checked out www.dcfiats.org yet?

Have you checked out Summit point raceway yet? Look at the Friday at the Track pictures. You will see a lot of Fiats and Alfas.

The 2 are somewhat related. Mark Perkins works for Summit Point and is a founding member of DCFiats.

I haven't had a chance to check out DC Fiats yet, but I certainly will.

I live about 20 minutes from Summit Point. Have I checked it out? You do know what I do for a living don't you? That's why I moved up here.

Steve I do not know what you really do

I know you race autoX and fix transmissions. I guess I never paid enough attention to your real live in your posts.

Next time you go to Summit Point say hi to Mark Perkins. He does not spend any time on these forums, but does spend a lot of time on Fiat coupes.

HA!

Well, I don't know what most of the people here do for a living. Well, I am the Director of Sales and Marketing for Trivinci Systems.

Trivinci is the maker of the Race-Keeper video data logger. The official Video-Data system of the SCCA World Challenge.
